PINK STARS ARE FALLING IN LINESPosted: 2013/09/07
Having read the Stephen King novel, Under The Dome, my interest was peaked by the summer series of the same name.Developed by Brian K. Vaughan, both Vaughan and Stephen King are executive producers along with Neal Baer, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Jack Bender, Steven Spielberg (that didn’t help Terra Nova or Earth 2), and Stacey Snider.
Basically the small town of Chester’s Mill in Maine is suddenly covered by a giant, transparent, and allegedly indestructible dome that more or less cuts them off from the world.
Like all TV, movies, and books this is really about the people.
How people respond and act, how they cope, things they’ll do and not do, and so on given the situation.
How would we act if we were trapped under a dome? No TV, no electricity, no phones, no computers, running low on food, water, medical supplies.
It’s like a pioneer show, but with really disturbing people instead of the Ingalls family.
Then again, what is the Dome and what does it want?
Who is the Monarch and when will they be crowned?
It’s creepy and it’s kooky, mysterious, and spooky…Every episode for me ends with a no, more!
